Copper phone lines are being phased out

Fax machines, alarm panels, elevator phones and card terminals often still run on copper lines that carriers are retiring. Most offices have at least one line nobody has thought about in years.

Send us a recent phone bill and we’ll tell you what’s still on copper and how to move it, on your schedule rather than the carrier’s.

How switching works

Four steps, and your office keeps working through all of them.

  1. Free assessment. Send us a recent phone bill, or we come by. We list every line and what it does.
  2. A plan and a quote. What to move, what to cancel and what it will look like each month.
  3. Move your numbers. We port your numbers and set up the new service. You keep the same numbers.
  4. Switch after hours. The cutover happens when your office is closed, and we check everything the next morning.

Common questions

Something we haven’t covered? Call us on 714-594-6000 and ask.

Can we keep our phone numbers?

Yes. We move your existing numbers to the new service, so callers dial the same numbers they always have.

What happens if our internet goes down?

Calls can forward automatically to mobiles or another location, so the phones keep ringing somewhere. We set that up before you go live.

Do we need new phones?

Not always. Many desk phones work on the new system. We check yours during the free assessment and tell you which can stay.

How long does the switch take?

Usually a few weeks from go-ahead, mostly waiting on the old carrier to release your numbers. The cutover itself happens when your office is closed.

We’ll look at what you have today and come back with options and a quote. Have a recent phone bill handy and it goes faster.
